Building Typology - Exhibition Booth | Furniture

The Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia annual architecture student works exhibition 2019 (’paaswe19’), held from 2 to 6 Octorber 2019. The theme given by PAM was ‘Metamorphosis’, comprising a concept that showcases the evolution of facades with the times. The concept also represents the different stages of evolution in Malaysia architecture. In line with the theme, the structure built and uses a vertical linear concept, based on the diagrid system with local postmodernist architecture as a basis.

Building typology - Retail Kiosk

Continuity from PAM Exhibition Booth, using term of “Metamorfosi” which is an Italian word that originates from the English word “metamorphosis”, to have a retail kiosk that suit with Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) motto to contribute towards an “Excellent City”, the retail kiosk can transform into a multi-functional space during a day and can close properly during at night or vice versa.

Design Involvement - Individual Design Project

Location - Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur

Building Typology - Visitor Centre

This project is about designing a visitor centre to provide interpretive and educational information to the visiting public. The visitor centre is a multiple function space designed for 50 persons. The primary purpose of a visitor center is to provide interpretive and educational information to the visiting public (including those with physical, sensory, and cognitive impairments) about the mission of reclamation, the project and its facilities, visitor security and safety.
